In late June, we took a trip to Ruston to introduce Molly Cate to her great-grandmother, Noni. Gran and Papa Jim drove into Dallas with Mary-Margaret to pick us up and take us over there. Molly Cate was not terribly excited about a 4 hour trip in the car and she made her concerns quite known.
When we arrived in Ruston, Noni was waiting up to meet us and Molly Cate was thrilled ot be out of the carseat. While Noni held her, we saw her first smile and heard her first coos.
While in Ruston, we had many visitors: her cousin Matthew and friend Mary Hollis Graham. Also, Aunt Schump and Uncle Dub stopped by as well as Aunt Judy and Uncle John. We also had visits from cousins Maggie, Susanna, Zoey, and Tait and friend Ian; Aunt Pat and Uncle Drew; Cousin Hassan; and friends Elizabeth Green and Jennifer Terzia. The week we were in town, Maggie had our newest cousin Ben. We did not get achance to stop by and see him, but we cannot wait to meet him on our next trip.
